working on the second predator concept for nocturnes, but the anatomy on this one looks a little unsteady, im still working out the kinks, but some red-lines would be appreciated for anyone familiar with this kind of thing.

loosely based around Yutyrannus and Baryonyx walkeri with orchid-like display flaps around it's head

I really like the orchid petal bits around it's head, they look really different to your other creatures, looks promising when the anatomy's perfected :P

I only know about dicks. But think about the hips. Its belly is too flat, pull the pelvic bone forward so its more in line with the knees.

i duno.

i can tell you about dicks all day tho

no wings, this beastie is strictly a runner, but is also somewhat of an ambush hunter

HMMMM alrighty!

Uhh well if it is ambush it would definitely need a lot of camouflage, and ambush predators tend not to be all that for long distance running and more for strict overpowering of prey with strength after surprise. I think maybe if its structure was slightly more compact and muscular it could work out?

I know, but they need to be able to chase down prey that is fast (especially since they are only slightly bigger than nocturnes)...hmmm......

like I had in mind like how cheetahs are fast, but have to get real close to their prey before running after it, but idk

Hmm well then they wouldn't really be that inclined to ambush. I mean yeah there is always a stalking element but whatever.

Where do these hings live? Forests or more open land?
