Okay first off, I think this is a really REALLY great attempt with a quadruped run-cycle which is some of the hardest stuff to do.
What i DO think could be improved and remembered for later animations is this.
I miss some up and downs on the chest, when the feet hit the ground, especially, its very static. It makes the creature seem less convincing, which is sad because he's so pretty. The front leg facing us is popping. Quite a lot actually. Rear end of this gorgeous creature is loosing length and volume, so is the tail. Make sure the feet are traveling the same length at the same speed when on the ground. I haven't measured it so i can't be sure but it looks a bit like they aren't traveling at the same speed. It might be due to the popping in the leg though. Keep check on the arc on the head, it's whoop-ling and popping a bit.
Otherwise, really great! I specially like the follow-through on the things on the head, that's just really mesmerizing They seem a bit stiff going down, but I kinda like that. Mesmerizing.
This made me smile. The animation looks great to me and I really like the character design and dramatic colors, but the bouncing tendrils and the way this guy looks just so pleased with himself are making me smile. It's so oddly cute!
Nice timing, nice movement in the front claws. Watch the proportions around the hips, as they seem to shift slightly, almost as though they're running at an angle. I feel like there should be more movement in the head, but overall this is a solid run cycle. Nice work!
Oh Hey, WOWS That is epic. Although he looks pretty damn serious for someone running like that; Normally you're tired or happy or something, not just Blank.
