So - things aren't great. But since a lot of people are freaking out I figured I'd post this. https://www.deviantart.com/stygma/journal/About-DreamUp-and-protection-against-AI-936590948 Yes - everyone is opted out of AI generation - you can check this by going to one of your deviations, clicking 'edit' and look to see if the 'do not use this for AI' box is checked - it should be by default (this also includes works in storage). You can also go to your account and under "General" check to see if the 'do not use my art for AI' box is checked - it should be by default. Now, this does not fix the AI scraping that had already been going on for months from you-name-it-whatever. But, from the looks of their own community post, they aren't going to be feeding anything new into their program. This doesn't eliminate the AI art scraping (if you're posting anything online, its at risk, unfortunately), but dA, as of now, is not going to be taking your work. tldr: Art theft still exists, but
